I have somewhat an amount of pre release hl1 content, it's not a beta build or anything but it is old models, an old hud, and old intro movie, and a few other things does anyone want this? I'm sure you do, but just checking.


NOTE: If you want to know where I've came along this stuff, I got it from a friend, I have no clue where he got it, and I can't ask because he sadly is now dead.

v_satchel.mdl (old detpack)
w_battery.mdl (old world model for suit battery)
diablo.mdl ( not sure, haven't exactly looked, must be some monster)
garg.mdl (another old monster I'm sure)
gordon.mdl (old gordon freeman player model)
headcrab.mdl (old headcrab)
headcrabT.mdl (old headcrab??)
millitary_police.mdl (millitary police??)

The for the heck of it, I threw in old builds of hlmv and the old valve intro where the guy like drills a hole in his head and puts in a valve.

Day1 and HlUplink are also included (other maps and models, may be custom though)

NOTE: The directory structure is very very disorganized, but I'm just giving it to you how I got it.


NOTE 2: I also have smds to a monster called "charger" but they aren't compiled do you guys want them?

Sounds great! As soon as I can access rapidcrap again I'll grab it and put it on my server for you ppl. My server DOES have an upload folder as well, so stuff can be uploaded directly to me also, saving the fuss with rapidshare.

You need 10 contributing posts to get access to the Members Private Servers section, which is where my server is published. Check this page and see if you think you got enough decent posts. Then you can apply for access and see mine and other ppls servers.

You're welcome, and also to those of you wondering what's up with the system dates on these files. The models were decompiled from really old .smd model source files, or decompiled from old models that used a different version that the current hl1 engine doesn't support.

No, I did not include the .smd's for the charger monster, but I'll grab the disk and upload again if you guys want me too. The charger is a very interesting creature, it kinda has the head of a fly, the front arms of a preying mantis, and the body of a stallion, except it's all covered in green scales.

You can extract them from the 7z file with either the 7-zip compression utility or WinRAR.
