Windows 7 build 7000 Home Premium by Connect

Post by zeehonden_3 »

If you use this ID in connect, you can download Windows 7 Beta 1 (build 7000) Home Premium: WIN7-3HQW-RF74

The only problem is, the key is offline, because this code is published online.

I hope someone would found one.

Why not delete the EI.CFG from the SOURCES folder on the DVD and after installing using the Orbit30 activator?

Also a good Idea.

Maybe It is handy to put a cracked version on the ftp (together with the untouched)

On the connect site, there is also Windows 7 Beta (7000-0-081212-1400) Server. Did it leak already?

No, just leave the original file untouched and not upload the ''cracked'' version, it should keep untouched and it saves space.
Also the server is downloadable in the Microsoft Download Center (Standard/Enterprise/Datacenter/Web in x86/x64 and the IA64).
Also they are on the FTP.

Is this the "Windows Ecosystem" Connect programme? I just got an email about this programme from Connect and the downloads page for it offers Windows 7 build 7000 SDK and Symbols, 7000 WDK, Windows Logo Kit v1.3, 7000 Language Interface Packs, 7000 Client and 7000 Server checked builds, 7000 Ultimate, 7000 Server, 7000 Home Premium, and M3 6801 checked server and client builds and Symbols - I was surprised to see all the M3 builds there as well considering that one was never really a public beta. The programme also gives you 5 build 7000 keys which are different to the public beta ones that were posted and are said to be for activation on up to 5 PCs each rather than unlimited like the public ones.

I didn't have to do any survey, I just clicked the link in this email and got to this "Windows Ecosystem" page, which has the copy of Home Premium as well as the M3 and Beta 1 builds. And yes, the file sizes for all languages of Home Premium and Ultimate are exactly the same in the downloads list. The checksums differ though.

i managed to get some keys before it went down. I looked at the download list, must have missed the M3 builds. Did those 6801 server ones leaked earlier?

If it's the same site as I'm looking at, the 6801 ones are right at the bottom. IA64 Checked Server 6801, now that's a pretty cool build! (though obviously not something you could actually use, unless you have an Itanium machine and also want to use an alpha checked build )

I got an invite from the Microsoft Windows DDK team. There's no 6801 for me. Great, one less 7 DDK.

6956 is a leaked VHD file converted into installable WIM format, so sorry it's only Ultimate, no other builds included (TM).

AFAIK, home premium and ultimate has the same file size and files in the iso.
But they are different. I don't know why the size is the same, but as far as I've seen, it's premium.

it's probably a change in a numerical value the changes the edition
so, let's say if 1 is replace with 3, the size would remain the same

Also,
Interestingly I don't see the checked builds on my connect page.

From MS: This version of the WinUSB co-installer contains several changes from the version in the Win7 beta version of the WDK. The co-installer itself will support installation on all platforms from Windows XP forward. In addition, there are some bug fixes in WinUSB itself. We encourage you to test your drivers for USB devices using this new co-installer, and to contact us at WDFINFO@microsoft.com with any problems or questions.

I think it is to install windows 7 from a flash drive (I may be wrong).
