How to make a photo DVD with menus

I am curious on how to do this as my sister really wants to know how to make one, but I am a bit lost on how to make one...

Any suggestions?

If you have Vista Premium/Ultimate then Windows DVD Maker is your best bet, other wise you could just use a trial of some software, take a look at download.com for some trials,
Core 2 Quad Q8400, 8Gb DDR3, ATI HD4850, 1Tb Seagate, Windows 7 Ultimate X64

Try memories on tv. That's a good one.

Nero contains also a diashow maker.

I think Ulead VideoStudio 11 is the best, because of many transitions and effects. But if you already try it Windows Movie Maker is the best for you.

I use Cyberlink PowerDirector. It's more of a video editing software but has some nice effects for photo's as well and can burn to a DVD with nice menu's. It's not free but there is a trial version.
