Windows 7 6519 Leak Announcement

Post by Andy »

Hello all,

As you are no doubt aware Windows 7 6519 has leaked! However some people might not have access to the protected forum where its download information is, so this is just to let you know it wasn't a lie, and it really is available once you get your access!

This is great news although I don't have access to the private servers yet .
Can't it be uploaded to a public server?

Or you could do what at least 15 other people have done this evening and get your contributing posts

Well, I've been trying to and it's getting along pretty well but I'm not really sure if I have 10 contributing posts .
I already posted in the most active topics and tried to help people where I could. But it looks like all random new news is just being spammed onto the forum and theres not much left to post about xD

It seems to me you have 10 contributing posts, though I'm not Andy. I'd still say you could safely apply for Server Access

Finally! Been waiting!

DL'ing now, and want to know:

Is it stable enough to run on my computer as the main os?
How much space does a full install?
Does it require a product key? If so, what kind?
Just wondering, as i may dual boot between this and XP.

It is stable enough. In line with Vista SP1, unless you count the automatic BSODs two hours after you start up

Same space requirements as Vista

You can use without a product key, and you can use a Vista Activation crack to crack Activation (But not the 2hr BSOD)

So, unless i get an authentic 7 key, every two hours it BSoD's?

Ok, i'll just try VMware then.

Has DanielC's Server got it?

Yeh, it's on there

@Eggman, even if you do get an authentic 7 key, it'd still BSOD every two hours. It's MS's new Timebomb.

There was a little mishap at another tech site earlier. Someone leaked the private server login credentials to get Windows 7 from betaarchive. Andy caught it though.

Yeh. There seems no shortage of things to post about at the moment it seems.

Well thats your fault for not being bothered. Its on SSL for a reason. Remember, no discussion of the servers outside the protected forums.
