Well... Maybe you should ask to Microsoft to be hired... Maybe you should work with the Seven Project Manager...

Well... I found an interresting post on Chris123NT's blog...
One thing I will say first and foremost. For all the non-believers out there, these screenshots and videos are indeed real. What you are seeing is the real M1 build of Windows 7. How do I know? Well you’ll just have to take my word for it (no I don’t have the build so DON’T ASK ME FOR IT).

TG Daily seems to have gotten more information about this... it requires Vista SP1 to install. Granted its not from any of TG's known authors, his nickname (instead of real name) is "JayDog"

If we look at longhorn's devolpement we see that the first steps are to detach system integration (for example make it a .net program). Later we see more experimental kernel features added (Memory management, ready boost, new drivers). Then the whole system is recomponentized (although the extent of this has been minimal in recent releases)...

In regards to logical progression, this seems about right.

More screenshots.

Interesting - more sources appear to be getting it. Maybe we'll see a leak after all?

Maybe.... maybe not. We still don't know the validity of any of these screenshots.

I think its ironic though that this website is called WhatsNext, while the other one was ThinkNext. And it still has some of the discrepancy's that I pointed out before...

I think this one is more trustworthy. Its ran by the people from thevista.ru, written by none other than betaarchive member, raiker...

Maybe MS learned to choose more trusted testers...
Just people dont want to loose their tester status, if MS found out who leaked it they would sure ban the tester...

actually, its a smaller group that are closer with microsoft than public testers
and not 13 years old kids which enjoy and feel pride for leaking stuff

It's a build tag, and you are treating it as if its a whole build.

Fortunately, I'm not like that, and this is what I have been hearing:
6.1.6568.1 (winmain.080312-1858)

I was expecting this to be a 7.0.xxxx build though, cos isn't M2 supposed to bring the new kernel?

Nobody knows. I'm still skeptical about any leaked details. Not to offend Raiker, but until we at least see something true its up to him (or whoever) to produce something (a real screenshot, or build etc) or this is all just wishful thinking.

Maybe it's M3 that will bring a new kernel.
And as we expect, this build problary wouldn't be leaking either

Still, shouldn't the person who claims to see, help them find their way?
Or are they too much of an arrogant [censored] to help out, and would rather poke fun at those who are blind?

I never said it was fact, I said that is what I heard. I have no way of verifying it. But if you know better, why not tell people. Its not even screens, its a build tag. It is of no real value at all.

I am quite surprised about the build tag, I thought it would have been 7.0xxxxxxxxxxx

Well now I just want M3. Maybe it wasnt a complete build but a bug fix with updated build tag?

Wasn't that the conclusion to which we'd already come?
Long days, and pleasant nights.
