Windows 95 Build 224 CD-ROM Easter Egg

Post by WinPC »

I read about this on a website. You insert your Windows 95 Build 224 CD-ROM into a CD Player and play track two. You will hear a very corny message (as the website said) .

Probably because some burning software has trouble ripping CDs with audio and data tracks.

The ISO kicking around here was originally a floppy release that someone
built an ISO of, originally released by progam the programmer on OSBA
from memory...
However, I just placed an original CD of it in my CD player, & it only
showed 1 track, not 2...
& it's not someone's made up ISO, it's an original CD, 83.6mb....

Is this meant to be run from the cd player on your computer, or sound system.

Nahh, the only thing I've released is the english version of Chicago 347...

BTW, I did some googling, apparently one of the messages on one of the builds is "Brown foxes run fast". LOL.

Offtopic, but that guy uses the same exact layout and graphics for my LiveJournal blog which is beyond scary. hahah.
Since January 2005, I've been in the Operating Systems Prototype Community. I've enjoyed learning more these past four years about the development of the Windows and Macintosh operating systems, as well as learning of new user-based projects that optimize system performance.

Maybe you or KenOath could try playing your other Chicago CD-ROM's in CD Players. Maybe the Chicago Build 347 CD-ROM's have this.
